Super quiet and nicely equiped. Owner/manager is wonderful.
They were being greedy for that money and though I would pay all of it which I was NOT going to do. I did move out, they did NOT collect that money either. If you go there be aware that if ANYTHING happens that they aren't happy with you will be asked to leave.
The owner rented the space to me knowing that I wanted to remain there, as I had no plans of going anywhere else b/c I liked it out in the country.
The place is nice. Usually quiet and nobody bothers you. Neighbors were discharging their firearm very close to other campers. Owner had a talk with them and they stopped. Should have been removed from the campground. Other than that I have enjoyed it here so far. Owner did make attempt to let us know they spoke with them. Very beautiful place. Grounds are well kept and they pick up your trash daily if you set it out for them. Rates are very reasonable. A little piece of the country.....way out in the country.
Electric included. This is an out of the way peaceful place. Great service here and great people.
I had my camper moved to Cane Creek in September of 2016. I had planned to remain there b/c I had requested an end space and I got one b/c someone just happened to move out.
Then around March the electrical meter outside the camper (in the back) caught on fire. Nothing inside my camper was added to cause that to happen. The owners called her electrician and gave me the bill for the electrician to replace the box and restore my power.
In turn I didn't feel that the fire wasn't any fault of mine or the camper, so to be sure I took the bill and explained the situation to the local electrician supervisor in Graham (the closest town). The electrician assured me that it wasn't my fault at all and that the problem stemmed from the box just being old and needing to be replaced. He gave me his business card and also wrote a note to the effect that it was NOT my fault/had nothing to do with my camper whatsoever, and stated that the bill should be given back to the owners as it was THEIR responsibility, and they were trying to get out of it.
John and Natalie are great. Be there May 24-26 2018 Bluegrass festival.
That cost me ALOT of time and money as well as aggravation, packing and stress, plus a lack of sleep. I had to find another place to live, as well as find a driver...None of that bothered them, b/c they didn't care. It's ALL about the money and nothing else...BEWARE!!!
She said nothing about this in Sept. that I would ever be asked to move, and now all the sudden when I asked why she said that the space I was in had already been reserved for April and I had to leave the space. WHY did she not tell me that back in September and save me all that time and money?????
Upon presenting copies of these papers to the owners, they must have gotten upset, b/c about 2 weeks or so later I had an eviction notice on my front door telling me they wanted me to move out. Basically bow down, roll over or leave...
I offered to split the cost of the electrician which was around $117.00 give or take and they wouldn't accept that amount.
